Ryan Fletcher has a strong background in mechanical engineering with experience in various roles and companies. Ryan started their career at Intersection Technologies in 2002 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and worked there until 2005. Ryan then joined GE Security as a Mechanical Engineer from 2005 to 2008. Following that, they worked at Electroglas as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from 2008 to 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at FormFactor as a Senior Engineer, where they developed high-speed precision assembly tools. Ryan then joined Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from 2010 to 2013, leading mechanical system architecture for LED laser scribing tools. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at QBotix, leading the mechanical design of a robotically actuated dual-axis tracking system. Ryan then joined Brightloom in 2016 as a Mechanical Engineering Specialist until 2018. Afterwards, they became a Senior Staff Engineer at Brightloom (eatsa) from 2018 to 2019. Finally, they worked at sweetgreen as a Lead Mechanical Engineer from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they are working at Covariant as a Mechanical Engineer.

Ryan Fletcher attended San Jose State University from 1994 to 1997, where they pursued a degree in Engineering. Following this, from 1997 to 2000, they enrolled in California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
