Vice President Provider Network Product Development at Coventry Workers' Comp & Auto Networks

Kate Farley Agee has over 20 years of work experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on network development, operations, and management. Kate currently serves as the Vice President of Provider Network Product Development at Coventry Workers' Comp Services, where they are responsible for the strategy and direction of national provider network products. In this role, they oversee the network channeling, reporting, and client implementation areas, and manages a large team of personnel.

Prior to their current position, Agee held several leadership roles at Coventry Workers' Comp Services, including Vice President of Network Operations, where they were responsible for the strategy and direction of all Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) for the Workers' Compensation product. Kate monitored the quality and compliance of the networks within the 16 MCOs and worked to improve and maintain access and operations to ensure a high-quality product for clients.

Before joining Coventry, Agee worked at Validare as the Director of Health Plan Relations, where they maintained regional preferred provider network agreements for an office-based surgery practice network. Kate also served as the Director of Network Strategy at Concentra, where they initiated the national workers' compensation network product strategy for Focus Healthcare Management, a subsidiary of the company.

Agee began their career at First Health Group Corporation, where they held management roles for four years.

Throughout their career, Agee has demonstrated expertise in managing key relationships, negotiating contracts, and developing and implementing network strategies. Kate has a strong background in workers' compensation and has experience working with a variety of provider types and healthcare plans.

Kate Farley Agee, MSMOB, MLS has a diverse education history. Kate obtained a Master of Legal Studies with a Concentration in Regulatory Compliance from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Management and Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University in 2000. Kate also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economic from Benedictine University, which they completed in 1992. Furthermore, they attended St. Francis College Prep High School in Wheaton, Illinois, where they received their High School Diploma with a focus on College Prep General Studies. Additionally, they obtained a Managed Care Certificate in Health Care Administration from Benedictine University in 2000.
