Carla James

Carla James has a strong background in human resources, with experience in various industries and roles. Carla currently works as the Head of People Partnering at Coventry Building Society. Prior to this, they served as the Head of HR Strategy at Veolia UK, where they focused on attracting and retaining employees. Carla also held leadership positions at Cadent Gas Limited and National Grid, where they led HR initiatives, managed change programs, and partnered with senior leaders. Carla has a broad range of experience in business partnering, resourcing, and talent management. Earlier in their career, they worked at Virgin Media, Barclays, and Vauxhall Motors, gaining experience in strategic HR planning and project management.

Carla James has a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from Loughborough University. Carla also has a CIPD Qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Prior to their university education, they attended Dyson Perrins C of E High School, where they completed A Levels and GCSEs.
