Owen Rees

Owen Rees currently serves as the Risk & Controls Manager for Cover-More Group in Europe, focusing on enhancing risk management practices within the organization. Prior to this role, Owen completed an MSc in Data Science and Analytics at Cardiff University and accumulated over two decades of experience at Zurich Insurance Company, where roles included Senior Risk Manager and Head of Risk UKGI and Shared Services. Areas of expertise include operational risk management, supplier onboarding, and third-party risk management. Owen began professional experience as an Analyst at Red Scientific Limited and has a solid academic foundation in Physics and various risk management certifications.
