Li Zhang

Li Zhang has a diverse work experience in the field of AI and computer vision. Starting in 1997, Zhang worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Iowa until 2001. In 2001, Zhang gained experience as a Temporary Technical Employee (intern) at Siemens. Later, in 2002, Zhang joined Siemens again and held roles as a Research/Staff Scientist and as a Sr. Staff Scientist/Key Expert until 2017. During this time, Zhang's contributions included conducting research and serving as an expert in the field. In 2017, Zhang transitioned to AiCure as a Computer Vision Researcher and later became a Sr. Principal Scientist. In this role, Zhang focused on AI development and computer vision research. In 2020, Zhang joined Covera Health, initially as a Director of AI and then promoted to Sr. Director of AI in 2022.

Li Zhang completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Biomedical Engineering at Tsinghua University. The dates for this education experience are not provided. After that, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Iowa from 1997 to 2001.
