Anasuya Das

Anasuya Das has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and artificial intelligence. Anasuya is currently working at Covera Health, where they hold the position of Senior Director of AI, NLP. Prior to this, they served as the Director of AI, NLP at the same company from July 2021 to June 2022, and as the Lead AI Scientist, NLP from August 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Covera Health, Anasuya worked at Data Products | Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Senior Data Scientist. Anasuya held this role from April 2017 to August 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at the same company from January 2016 to March 2017, and from May 2015 to January 2016.

Anasuya's career in data science began as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science, where they designed and implemented a wine recommender system using natural language processing and latent semantic indexing. This project involved crowd-sourcing, cleaning, and storing over 100,000 wine tasting notes and reviews. Anasuya held this position from January 2015 to April 2015.

Anasuya also has experience in research, having worked as a Post-doctoral fellow at New York University from September 2013 to April 2015 and as a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Rochester Medical Center from December 2009 to August 2013.

Anasuya Das began their education in neuroscience in 2005 when they enrolled in the National Brain Research Centre. Anasuya pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree, which they completed in 2007. Following their master's degree, Anasuya Das continued their studies at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. From 2007 to 2013, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Neuroscience.
