Valerie Beckett has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Valerie started their career in 2000 as an Insurance Sales Agent with Progressive Insurance, where they worked in various roles such as Customer Service Representative, Sales Agent, Policy Verification, Blended Sales Rep, and Multi Product Sales Agent. During their time at Progressive, Valerie gained extensive knowledge of the insurance business and developed skills in customer service, sales, policy verification, and retention.

In 2010, Valerie joined the Agency Contact Team at Progressive Insurance, where they acted as a liaison between sales and services to ensure customers received a seamless experience. Valerie further expanded their responsibilities as a Pre-planning Advisor at Dignity Memorial in 2018, where they conducted sales presentations, personalized funeral arrangements, and handled every detail for clients.

Valerie also served as an Outreach Specialist at Catasys Inc. from 2019 to 2021, where they engaged in outbound cold calling to persuade health plan members to enroll in telehealth therapy. In 2021, they joined Ethos as an Account Executive, focusing on outbound cold calling, verifying information, completing applications, and providing coverage counseling to maximize policy value.

Valerie's most recent experience includes working as a Petcare Service provider at Pooch Smooch Pet Services and an Account Manager at CoverTree, both starting in 2022.

Valerie Beckett has a diverse education history in the field of insurance. In 2002, they attended Central Insurance School and received a degree in Property and Casualty Insurance in 2003. In 2018, Valerie briefly attended Florida School of Insurance and earned a 215 license in life, health, and annuities. The following year, they pursued further education at the Florida Insurance School, specializing in a 215 license. Additionally, Valerie holds a certification in Fire Safety training and crowd control from the Florida Fire Marshals and Inspectors Association, as well as a certification called "Taking the High Road" from Progressive Insurance.
