Carin Reuter

Carin Reuter has a strong background in intellectual property rights and legal counsel. Carin started their career at Bayer HealthCare in 2002, where they held various roles as a Patent Counsel and Senior Patent Counsel until 2012. Carin then joined Bayer Intellectual Property GmbH as a Senior Patent Counsel, where they worked until 2017. In 2017, Carin joined Covestro as a Senior IP Counsel, focusing on Transactional Excellence. Carin later became the VP and Head of IP Rights for both Polycarbonates and Coatings, Adhesives & Specialties - Digital at Covestro.

Carin Reuter began their education in 1992 at the University of Bonn, where they pursued a degree in Organic Chemistry. Carin completed their Diplom in Organic Chemistry in 1998. Following this, they furthered their studies and obtained a Dr. rer. nat in Organic Chemistry from the same university between 1998 and 2000. In 2000, Carin Reuter pursued a Post-Doc in Bioorganic Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed in 2002. Additionally, between 2002 and 2007, they attended Bayer HealthCare AG to attain a degree as a European Patent Attorney.
