Kazutaka Tahara has over 27 years of experience in the chemical and materials industry, primarily with Covestro, where current roles include Head of Supply Chain & Logistics Japan and Operating Officer. Throughout the tenure at Covestro, Kazutaka held several positions, including Head of Supply Chain Center Japan and Director of Product Management for APAC Resins, focusing on specialty chemicals and marketing within the cosmetics and medical sectors across the Asia Pacific region. Prior experience includes roles in technical sales and commercial operations at Chukyo Yushi Co., Ltd and Chukyo Europe GmbH. Kazutaka Tahara holds a bachelor's degree in German from Kyoto University of Foreign Studies and studied at the University of Mannheim.
