Marcus Heeland

Marcus Heeland has over three decades of experience in process control technology and functional safety. Since January 2000, Marcus has held various technical roles at Covestro, including Technical Standard, Functional Safety, Functional Safety Asset Management, PCT Safety and Quality Engineer, Project Engineer, and PCT Maintenance Engineer. Prior to joining Covestro, Marcus worked at Bayer from January 1993 to December 1999 as a Technician in Process Control Technology and briefly in 1991 in the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Marcus's early career included compulsory military service in the Bundeswehr in 1992. Education was completed at Bayer Vocational School, where a degree in Technician Process Control Technology was earned from 1987 to 1991.
