Peter Verdonck

Peter Verdonck has extensive work experience in the chemical industry, specifically in the field of polyurethane production and technology.

Peter began their career at Bayer China in 2002, where they served as the PCT lead for BPA SPC projects.

In 2006, Verdonck joined Bayer Materialscience Antwerp as the group leader for E&I maintenance in the polyurethane division. Peter remained in this position until 2009 when they transferred to Bayer Materialscience Baytown in the United States.

At Baytown, Verdonck held the role of Head of the Reliability Department for PUR, where they oversaw department operations and project management. Peter remained in this role until 2014.

In 2014, Verdonck joined Covestro as the Head of Production & Technology for Polyurethane in Antwerp, Belgium. Peter then progressed to roles including Head of PUR P&T Covestro Antwerp, Head of PUR P&T Antwerp & Venture Manager, and most recently, Head of Operations & Venture Manager for the Aniline Expansion Project at Covestro NV.

Throughout their career, Verdonck has demonstrated expertise in managing operations, technology, and project management in the chemical industry.

From 1984 to 1988, Peter Verdonck attended HOGENT, where they pursued a degree in Ing. Peter specialized in Electriciteit, with a focus on regeltechniek and robotica.
