Randy Garabedian

Randy Garabedian has over 20 years of work experience in the chemical industry. Randy started their career at Bayer Technology Services in 1999 as a Project Development Engineer and later became the Process Optimization Group Head. In 2002, they joined Bayer MaterialScience as a Plant Engineer and eventually served as a Maintenance Engineer and Manager and later as a Plant Manager. From 2010 to 2012, they returned to Bayer Technology Services as the Process Optimization Group Head. Since 2012, Randy has been working at Covestro, where they have held various roles including Manufacturing Manager, Polycarbonate and Plant Manager. Currently, they serve as the Managing Director. Throughout their career, Randy has demonstrated expertise in process optimization, project development, and plant management. Randy has received recognition for their contributions, including the 2013 BMS Innovation Award for Manufacturing and Process Technology.

Randy Garabedian obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Randy further pursued their education at the same institution and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering from 1997 to 1999.

In terms of additional certifications, Randy Garabedian is a Professional Engineer, certified by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in December 2011. Randy has also obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Six Sigma Green Belt from SBTI, although the specific dates are unavailable.
