Stephan Ehlers

Stephan Ehlers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the production and technology sectors, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Production & Technology TPU at Covestro since September 2015 and as a member of the Alliance Advisory Board for the Teknor Apex — Covestro TPU Alliance since May 2020. Ehlers has a strong background in managing multiple production units across global sites, leading expansion projects, and overseeing asset management strategies. Prior roles include Head of Production & Technology for Coatings, Adhesives, and Specialties at Bayer MaterialScience in both China and globally, and various managerial positions in production, including Plant Manager at Bayer. Ehlers holds a doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Cologne and has pursued further education in executive coaching and leadership.
