Wolfgang Alter

Wolfgang Alter has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in production, technology, strategy, and corporate planning. Wolfgang worked for Bayer from 1988 to 2002, holding different management positions in production and technology. At Covestro, they started as the VP of Corporate Development Investment Coordination & Analysis in 2002 and held this role until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Project VP for "Real Estate Integration" at Covestro, where they were responsible for integrating and optimizing real estate portfolios and related business processes. In 2018, they became the VP of Industrial Facility Management for Germany at Covestro, and later was promoted to the role of VP of Global Industrial Facility Management, where they developed concepts and processes for other countries and locations.

Wolfgang Alter obtained their education in the field of Physical Chemistry from 1978 to 1988. During this period, they attended Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and achieved the degrees of Dr. rer. nat. and Dipl.-Chem.
