Rob Brown, CPA, is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as the Vice President of Accounting at Covia since July 2024, Rob oversees all facets of accounting, tax, financial reporting, internal controls, and GAAP compliance. Prior to this, Rob was the Chief Accounting Officer at Atlas Oil Company, leading the accounting, finance, tax, and IT functions, and held the Vice President of Finance position at Shell Energy. Rob's career also includes significant roles at Just Energy, APG&E, TriEagle Energy, Enron, and Koch Gateway Pipeline Company, showcasing expertise in operational accounting, financial reporting, multi-state tax compliance, and organizational leadership. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University, along with a Contract Law Specialist Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin.
