Julian Wright

Julian Wright is a legal professional with extensive experience in various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as Special Counsel at Covington & Burling LLP since February 2019, Julian has previously held the position of Legal Counsel at The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria from July 2015 to January 2019. Prior to that, Julian worked as an Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP between November 2009 and May 2015 and completed a judicial clerkship at the Supreme Court of Canada under Justice Rosalie S. Abella from August 2008 to August 2009. Julian's earlier experiences include roles as Summer Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and Summer Student at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, along with research positions at the Institute for Research on Public Policy and The Brookings Institution, and an internship at NATO. Julian holds a J.D. with Honours from the University of Toronto and a B.A. in History and Economics from McGill University.
