Martine Lien Engerud

Martine Lien Engerud, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Martine is currently a Senior Business Development Director at COWI, a position they started in August 2023. Prior to this, Martine worked at Deloitte as a Senior Manager - Business Operations from August 2018 to August 2023. Martine also held the role of Manager, Health and Public Sector at Accenture from June 2014 to August 2018. Martine pursued their PhD in Industrial Economics at NTNU from January 2007 to July 2014. Martine has also worked as a Project Manager/Cluster Coordinator at Oslo Teknopol from November 2005 to February 2011. Additionally, Martine gained experience as a Business Intern at Voss of Norway ASA in 2006, where they worked on various projects related to sales, marketing, and public relations. Martine started their career as a Project Assistant at Oslo Teknopol from June 2003 to September 2004 and as a Student Consultant at The Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) & The Norwegian Players' Association for Football in 2003.

Martine Lien Engerud, PhD, has a diverse education history. Martine earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2007 and 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Regional and Urban Development from Newcastle University from 2004 to 2005. Martine also holds a Cand Mag degree in Social Science from the University of Oslo, which they acquired from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they completed a semester study in European Integration at the University of Agder in 2001.
