Alima Bawah

Co-Founder/Chief Engagement Officer at Cowtribe

Alima Bawah has a wealth of experience in the fields of media and public health. Alima began their career in 2008 as a Field Assistant for the Central Gonja District Environmental Health Department. In 2011, they joined Bishara Radio as a News Editor, Reporter, Anchor and Presenter. In 2014, they became Program Manager for the Kic Foundation. In 2016, they were both Project Manager for the Legal Resource Centre-British High Commission and Co-Founder/Chief Engagement Officer for Cowtribe Inc., an ag-tech company that provides livestock vaccines and other inputs to rural farmers in Ghana.

Alima Bawah is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Project Management at KNUST School of Business. Alima previously obtained a Diploma in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture from Bygholm Landbrugsskole - Denmark in 2014. From 2014 to 2017, Alima studied Early Childhood Education and Teaching at University of Education Winneba. Alima also attended Accra Business School, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General, and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA.
