Kathy Tinker

Kathy Tinker, CMP, is an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the convention and event planning industry. Currently serving as an Experienced Sales Professional at the Cox Business Convention Center since September 2018, Kathy has a long-standing tenure at the Cox Business Center in Tulsa, where involvement spans back to October 1999, focusing on diverse markets including non-profit and faith-based associations. Prior to this, Kathy was the Convention Sales Manager at the Tulsa Convention & Visitors Bureau from July 1995 to September 1999, where responsibilities included developing various market segments and crafting branding and marketing strategies. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Advertising & Public Relations from The University of Tulsa and maintains certifications including Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Events Industry Council and a Graduate Institute degree from the IAVM Venue Management School.
