Richard Wilson

Richard Wilson is a seasoned professional in the field of cyber security and information systems, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Cyber Security at CP Kelco since November 2006. In this role, Richard developed a global cyber security initiative for process control networks across 26 plants in 9 countries and led a diverse team of 96 to address specific risks within industrial control systems. Prior to CP Kelco, Richard held positions including IT Operations Manager responsible for project management at CP Kelco, Information Systems Manager at Kia overseeing MRP and EDI systems, and Information Systems Manager at Corvas International where significant cost savings were achieved in telecommunications. Richard's earlier experience includes roles as Network Manager at Gen-Probe and Network Systems Analyst at Advanced Tissue Sciences, alongside foundational work as a Software Developer/Network Engineer at Horizons Technology. Richard holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from California State University, Long Beach, as well as two Associate's Degrees in Information Systems and Business Administration from Miramar College.
