Karl Stjärne began their work experience in 2009 as a Supplemental Instructor at Chalmers University of Technology. In 2011, they worked as a Software & Test Engineer at Mecel AB, where they performed tests on Mecel's Betula software and was involved in a car HMI development project. Karl then had a summer internship in 2013 at Volvo group trucks technology, where they developed a wireless battery independent air inlet vacuum switch.
In 2014, Karl joined CPAC Systems AB, starting as an Embedded Software Developer in a small team creating an onboard vehicle sensor. Karl designed the sensor algorithm in Simulink and worked on its hardware compatibility. Karl also created a calibration sequence and an end-of-line test at their production facility. Later at CPAC Systems AB, Karl worked as an Android Developer on the development of an in-vehicle android application for heavy construction equipment. Karl contributed to software development, software architecture design, and coordinating work packages with other teams. Karl'sskills included Java, Kotlin, RxJava, Dagger/Hilt, Room, gRPC, and Git.
Overall, Karl Stjärne has gained experience in software development, embedded systems, sensor algorithm design, hardware and software design, and coordination of work packages.
Karl Stjärne completed their education at Chalmers University of Technology, where they earned a Master's Degree in Systems, Control and Mechatronics from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Automation and Mechatronics, also at Chalmers University of Technology, for the duration of six years from 2008 to 2014.
