Mona Freundt

Associate Director Policy Engagement - Major Economier at CDP

Mona Freundt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mona is currently working at CDP as the Associate Director Policy & Government Partnerships. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Policy and Government Partnerships Manager for the EU & EFTA, and as a Policy Manager for the same region.

Before joining CDP, Mona worked as a Junior Researcher at Ecologic Institute, where they co-authored publications related to the assessment of the European Commission's Strategic Long-term Vision. Mona also had a brief stint as a Freelance Researcher at NewClimate Institute and as a Freelance Analyst at Germanwatch, where they contributed to the Allianz Climate and Energy Monitor 2017 report.

Mona's early career includes experience at CDP in various capacities, including Investor Initiatives Project Consulting and Investor Initiatives Project Officer. Mona also worked as a Policy Analyst during their time at CDP.

Additionally, Mona completed an internship at Deutsche Umwelthilfe e.V. and gained valuable experience through an internship and bachelor dissertation at Daimler AG.

Mona Freundt's education history includes a variety of academic experiences. In 2015-2016, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Global Energy and Climate Policy at SOAS University of London.
