Steven Wang

Steven Wang has a strong background in healthcare investments and banking. Steven currently works as the Partner and Senior Managing Director at Orbimed Healthcare Investments Fund (Offshore) LP. Before joining Orbimed, they held the position of Managing Director and Head of Pharmaceuticals at CITICPE. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Director and Head of Asia Healthcare Investment Banking at Credit Suisse. Additionally, they served as a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank and Executive Director at Morgan Stanley. Steven started their career as an Analyst at ADAR Investment Management and Clinton Group, and also worked as a Principal Research Scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute.

Steven Wang earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from The Johns Hopkins University. Steven attended the university from 1991 to 1996. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, General from New York University, completing their studies from 1998 to 2000.
