Joe Gatto

Joe Gatto is currently the VP of Strategic Initiatives at CPower Energy Management. Joe has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, including roles as Director of Load Response for New York and New England at Constellation (an Exelon company), Vice President of Business Development Europe at CPower, and Owner of DemandDirect LLC. In their current role, Joe is responsible for developing customer base and partner network for participation in UK grid operator balancing services. Joe has also investigated potential to provide similar services in other EU countries. Prior to their current role, Joe served as the VP of Demand Side Product Development for end users, utility demand response engagements, regional transmission authority program management and regulatory advocacy.

Joe Gatto attended the University of Rhode Island from 1968-1972, where they earned a BS in Chemical Engineering. Joe subsequently completed additional training in Sales and Marketing Management at Columbia University and Financial Management at the University of Pennsylvania. Joe is also a Six Sigma Champion.
