James Carter has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. James began their career in the US Army as a Sergeant before transitioning to work as a recruiter at Orion International. After that, they worked as a recruiter and RPO Recruiter at CPS Energy. James then joined Black & Veatch as a Sr. Recruiter and later became a Talent Acquisition Manager. James also worked at Pacific Gas and Electric Company as a Principal Recruiter and Recruiting Manager. Currently, James is working at CPS Energy as the Director of Talent Acquisition, HR Information System & Workforce Planning. Throughout their career, James has demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, leadership, and implementing various strategies to meet organizational needs.

James Carter received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration from Baker University between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained an AA degree in Liberal Arts from Johnson County Community College from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, James has obtained several certifications, including Six Sigma - Yellow Belt and Project Management Mastery Training from Pacific Gas and Electric Company, as well as certifications in ACIR - Advanced Certified Internet Recruiter, Change Management Practitioner, and LinkedIn Recruiter Expert from various institutions.
