Jelle Prins has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jelle is currently a Co-Founder at Cradle Bio since June 2021. Prior to that, they co-founded Operator Exchange in January 2020. Jelle has also worked at Uber, where they held the position of Director of Product Design from November 2014 to March 2020. Before their time at Uber, Jelle founded Moop in April 2010, designing and building apps for successful startups and multinational companies. Jelle joined Uber in January 2009 as a Product Manager & Designer and played a crucial role in defining the product experience and designing the initial apps. Furthermore, Jelle has a teaching background at the University of Amsterdam, where they served as a Teacher-Assistant from January 2005 to December 2008, focusing on Product Design and Human Computer Interaction. Additionally, they acted as a Student Representative on the Academic Board during this period.

Jelle Prins has a diverse education history, exhibiting a strong interest in computer science, business, and information management. In 2004, they pursued a Master's degree at the University of Amsterdam, specializing in Information, Economics, Business, and Management. Following their completion in 2009, Jelle went on to attend New York University for a year, where they pursued a Graduate degree in Computer Science. Additionally, in 2020, Jelle pursued a short-term course at Bellingcat, focusing on research and verification methods employed by the organization.
