Brenton Thomson

Brenton Thomson has a strong background in technical roles within the engineering industry. Brenton began their career at Advantech in 2004 as an Application Engineer, providing expertise in various applications. In 2008, they transitioned to Soanar as a Field Application Engineer, where they focused on providing technical support in the field. In 2013, they joined Braetec as a Systems Engineer, contributing to system development and implementation. Brenton then returned to Advantech in 2018 as a Field Application Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Technical Manager. Currently, in 2023, they are an Enterprise Support Engineer at Cradlepoint. Throughout their career, Brenton has consistently demonstrated their technical knowledge and expertise in the engineering field.

Brenton Thomson pursued their education in Computer Systems Engineering from 2002 to 2004 at Chisholm Institute. After completing their degree, they obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skill set. In 2010, they earned the "MCTS: Windows Embedded Standard 2009, Development" certification from Microsoft. Following this, in 2013, they achieved the "MCTS: Windows Embedded Standard 7" certification. Brenton continued their professional development by obtaining the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate" certification from Microsoft in October 2022. Most recently, in April 2023, they completed the "Cradlepoint Certified Network Professional" certification and the "Cradlepoint Certified Network Expert Theory" certification from Cradlepoint.
