Don Ferguson

Don Ferguson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies in the technology industry. Don is currently serving as the Partner Area Manager for Western Canada at Cradlepoint, where they focus on developing strategic partnerships in the wireless branch, mobile, and IoT market segments. Prior to that, Don worked as the Partner Account Manager for Western Canada at Fortinet, a global cybersecurity technology innovation leader. Don'srole involved delivering innovative network security fabric solutions and expanding the company's security market in various areas.

Before joining Fortinet, Don worked at igniteCSG as a Senior Account Executive, where they established a sales presence for the northern AB and SK region and grew collaboration revenues in voice, video, cloud, and boardroom technologies. Don also held roles at Cisco Systems, starting as a Systems Engineer providing pre-sales technical support and later transitioning to a Partner Business Manager, where they assisted Cisco resale partners in developing profitable practices and maximizing growth in Western Canada. Don has also worked at SaskTel Mobility as a Wireless Business Development Engineer and Network Systems Engineer, at Alcatel as a Manufacturing Systems Engineer, and at Hinz Consulting as a Project Engineer.

Don Ferguson has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. Don also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from the same university. In terms of certifications, Don holds the CCIP (Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional), CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate), and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certifications. Additionally, they are a Professional Engineer, certified by The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
