Edwin Ball

Edwin Ball has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Edwin currently works as a Network Engineer at Cradlepoint since April 2021. Prior to that, Edwin held the same role at the Idaho Air National Guard starting in January 2017, where they initially worked as an Aircraft Armaments Systems Technician from August 2005 to January 2017. From June 2012 to April 2021, Edwin worked as an IT Support Technician at Perspecta. Edwin also gained experience as a Technical Support Technician at WDS Global from January 2011 to June 2012, troubleshooting phones and data devices for Verizon wireless customers. Edwin previously worked as an Outside Sales representative at The Mobility Group from July 2010 to January 2011, and as an Enumerator for the US Census Bureau for a few months in 2010. Edwin started their career in the US Air Force as an Aircraft Armaments Systems Technician from September 1999 to August 2005.

Edwin Ball earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Economics and Management from Boise State University, completing their studies from 2005 to 2009. Edwin also obtained various certifications, including the GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON) from GIAC Certifications in May 2022 and May 2022, respectively. Edwin obtained the Securing the IoT: Privacy certification from LinkedIn in May 2022. Additionally, they acquired the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in July 2012 and the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certification from Cisco in August 2019.
