Jeff Giroux

Jeff Giroux has extensive work experience in the field of IT and cybersecurity. Jeff is currently working at Cradlepoint as a Senior Sales Engineer in the Ericom Cybersecurity Unit, where they provide pre-sales technical support to customers in addressing cloud security and zero trust. Prior to their current role, Jeff worked at F5, where they held various positions. Jeff was a Global Solutions Architect - Cloud, responsible for driving customer and field adoption of public cloud and supporting key customer wins. Jeff also served as a Senior Solutions Engineer - Cloud, specializing in cloud/automation/orchestration and performing proof of concepts for F5 integration into public clouds. Additionally, Jeff worked as a Solutions Engineer - Field Sales at F5, providing pre-sales technical support and conducting product demonstrations. Before joining F5, they worked at Visa as a Senior Info Security Engineer, administering network configuration security tools and setting up HA redundancy for device collection. Jeff also gained experience at Apollo Education Group, where they served as a Senior Security Engineer and was involved in project management and application migrations. Jeff also worked as a Senior IT Engineer - Network Tools team, responsible for network traffic management solutions, and as a System Admin II, managing the organization's IT infrastructure. Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated expertise in network security, public cloud technologies, and pre-sales technical support.

Jeff Giroux graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Jazz Studies from Northern Arizona University in 2001. Jeff then pursued a Masters of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, which they completed in 2005.

In terms of certifications, Jeff Giroux obtained various credentials throughout their career. In 2003, they obtained the Network+ certification from CompTIA, followed by the A+ certification from CompTIA in 2003 as well. In 2011, they achieved the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification from Cisco. Additionally, they acquired the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification in 2006 from Cisco.

From 2012 to 2014, Jeff Giroux obtained the CCSA R75 and CCSE R75 certifications from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. respectively. In 2014, they achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².

Jeff'scertification journey continued with the F5 Certified Administrator, BIG-IP (101/201) certification from F5 Networks in 2015. In 2017, they obtained the F5 Certified Technology Specialist, LTM (301a/301b) certification from F5 Networks, as well as the AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. 2018 saw him achieve the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google, followed by the AWS Developer Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in the same year.

Jeff Giroux's pursuit of knowledge and expertise continued with various certifications in 2019, such as the F5 Certified Solution Expert, Cloud (402) certification from F5 Networks and the F5 Certified Technology Specialist, DNS (302) certification, also from F5 Networks. In 2020, they received the Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) certification from Microsoft, the Aviatrix Certified Engineer certification from Aviatrix, and the AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification from Amazon Web Services.

Jeff'smost recent certification is the CKS: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), obtained in August 2021.
