John Dechant

John DeChant, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. John started their career in 2009 as an Assistant in Retail Sales Operations at Verizon Wireless, where they excelled in inventory management, cash reconciliation, and implementing procedures to prevent shrinkage. From there, they progressed to roles such as Retail Sales Representative, Senior Sales Representative, and finally Supervisor, where they demonstrated leadership qualities and achieved high sales results.

In 2013, John was promoted to Solutions Manager at Verizon Wireless, where they managed a sales team and consistently exceeded sales targets. John then transitioned to the role of Solutions Manager and later Business Account Executive, where they consulted businesses on technology solutions and demonstrated the value of technology in streamlining processes and adding value to their business.

In 2016, John joined CDW as a Mobility Solution Architect, where they became a subject matter expert for CDW-G's State and Local Government organization. John supported multiple sales teams across the country, responsible for growing the business of mobile solution products and offerings within the organization nationwide.

Currently, John DeChant is working at Cradlepoint since 2019, where they initially served as a Sales Engineer and later as a Senior Sales Engineer. In these roles, they played a key role in leading Cradlepoint's technical strategy, enabling training for national solution providers, and managing the recruitment and in-take efforts for partner user groups and product advisory councils.

John DeChant, MBA, received their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Ohio University, from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication with a focus on Media Management, Business from Ohio University between 2006 and 2010. John'seducation journey began at Avon Lake High School, where they graduated from in 2006.

In addition to their academic achievements, John DeChant obtained a certification as a Certified Network Expert from Cradlepoint in May 2022.
