Justin McAfee

Justin McAfee has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Justin currently works at Cradlepoint as a Manager Information Security, a role they started in April 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Security Engineer at the same company from September 2022 to April 2023.

Before joining Cradlepoint, Justin held various positions at different organizations. Justin served as the Treasurer at ISSA - East Tn Chapter from January 2022 to April 2023. From 2009 to 2022, they were the Owner of McAfee Media Solutions.

Justin McAfee's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Chattanooga State Community College and obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Computer Science in 2009. Justin then went on to study Communications at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2010 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. In 2013, Justin briefly attended the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, where they focused on Information/Psychological Warfare and Military Media Relations.

In addition to their formal education, Justin has obtained several certifications. In 2021, they became a GIAC Advisory Board member and also achieved the GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) certification. In 2022, they attained the GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA) certification. Most recently, in 2023, Justin completed the 100W Cybersecurity Practices for Industrial Control Systems certification offered by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
