Kevin Engelmann

Kevin Engelmann started their work experience in 1981 with the United States Air Force, where they served as a Sperry/Unisys Mainframe Systems Programmer and project manager until 1992. Kevin then worked as a Network Manager at Denver Public Schools from 1992 to 1994, where they designed and managed the district's first routed IP WAN.

From 1995 to 1997, Engelmann worked at Anixter as a Sr. Systems Engineer/Systems Engineering Manager, overseeing project designs and implementations of IP and ATM networks in a seven-state region. Kevin then joined Optical Data Systems/ODS Networks as a Sr. Systems Engineer from 1997 to 1998, responsible for the design, installation, and support of IP and ATM products for Federal and Enterprise accounts.

Engelmann's next role was at Foundry Networks/Brocade/Arris(Ruckus) from 1998 to 2019 as a Sr. Systems Engineer. Kevin excelled as a pre-sales engineer, presenting technical information and solutions to a large enterprise customer base.

Currently, Engelmann is employed at Cradlepoint since 2019 as a Sr. Solutions Architect/Sr. Systems Engineer. Kevin provides support for Commercial and Public sector customer accounts, conducts POCs to highlight LTE/5G/CBRS solutions, and delivers presentations and demos showcasing the capabilities of the company's products.

Kevin Engelmann has a comprehensive education history in the field of computer science and information technology. Kevin earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. Kevin then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General from Boston University, completing their studies from 1990 to 1992.

In addition to their formal education, Kevin Engelmann has also obtained various certifications related to the ever-evolving field of technology. Some of their certifications include 5G Technology Strategy: Next-Generation Mobile Networking and IoT Foundations: Low-Power Wireless Networking from LinkedIn, Cradlepoint Certified Network Associate, Cradlepoint Certified Network Professional, and Cradlepoint Certified Sales Associate from Cradlepoint, Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) from CWNP, and CCNP Routing (300-101) Cert Prep: Route Redistribution and Selection from LinkedIn.
