Mukul Sharma has a strong work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Mukul started their career at Bay Networks Inc as a Software Engineer in 1995 before moving on to Cisco Systems as a Sr. Software Engineer in 1996. At Cisco, they worked on various fabric subsystems and played a key role in the design and development of fabric components for the CRS-1, CRS-3, and NG platforms.

In 2010, Mukul joined Juniper Networks as a Staff Software Engineer. Mukul took on the responsibility of leading the engineering efforts for the packet forwarding plane on the QFX5100 switch and Next Generation Campus Architecture. Here, they were involved in the design and implementation of various features and also automated test cases using Python.
