Paul Wuerslin

Paul Wuerslin began their work experience as a Co-op Student at Honeywell Network Services from 1994 to 1997. Paul performed various tasks such as product research, creating presentations, and developing reports for senior engineers. Paul also maintained servers and applications as a network administrator.

In 1989, Paul worked as a Soccer Referee for the U.S. Soccer Federation until 1992.

From 1998 to 2014, Paul worked at Sprint in various roles. Paul started as a Systems Engineer, where they designed Sprint's Frame Relay reporting tool and provided technical support for international networks. Paul later became a Regional Consulting Engineer, consulted and approved wireline designs, and developed wireless site survey processes. Paul also served as a Solution Architect, advising customers and collaborating on redesigning managed services and wireless telemetry solutions. Eventually, they became a Senior Sales Engineer, creating sales opportunities and delivering keynote speeches at customer events and trade shows.

From 2014 to 2022, Paul worked at Verizon as a Senior Solutions Architect, contributing to technical designs and solution presentations.

Currently, Paul is a Sales Engineer at Cradlepoint since 2023. Paul works with their commercial accounts group, covering companies in North and South Carolina. Cradlepoint specializes in Wireless WAN, offering advanced 4G and 5G routers and adapters controlled through Cradlepoint NetCloudTM.

Paul Wuerslin pursued their education with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and Industrial Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. Paul furthered their academic pursuits by obtaining an MBA in Management, Finance, and Information Technology from the UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business from 2001 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Paul Wuerslin has acquired various certifications to enhance their professional skills. These include the Cradlepoint Certified Network Expert Practical, Cradlepoint Certified Network Expert Theory, Cradlepoint Certified Network Associate, Cradlepoint Certified Network Professional, Cradlepoint Certified Network Professional - 5G, Cradlepoint Certified Network Professional - NetCloud Exchange, and Cradlepoint Certified Network Professional - NetCloud Private Networks, all obtained in January 2023. Paul also holds the Nokia Bell Labs 5G Certified Associate certification from May 2021. Furthermore, Paul Wuerslin has earned certifications such as CMNA from Cisco Meraki in October 2015, Cloud Security Knowledge from the Cloud Security Alliance in January 2015, Cisco Certified Design Associate - CCDA from Cisco in June 2004, Agilent Certified Expert from Agilent Technologies in November 2001, and Cisco Certified Network Associate - CCNA from Cisco in January 2000.
