Philip Scott has a diverse background in sales and account management within the technology industry. Philip started their career as Vice-President of Worldwide Sales at Acopia Networks in 2002. Philip then held the role of VP Americas and EMEA Sales at Cacheflow/Blue Coat Systems from 1999 to 2003. From 2004 to 2005, they served as VP Eastern Sales at Force10 Networks. In 2005, they became Director of Sales, Eastern US and Canada at Ixia Communications. From 2009 to 2011, they held the position of Regional Sales Director, Eastern US at Xangati, where they focused on developing reseller and strategic partner sales channels. Philip then transitioned to a Director role at Xirrus from 2011 to 2012, managing sales teams across the Northeast region. At Aruba Networks, from 2012 to 2014, they became a Major Accounts Manager responsible for major financial and banking clients in the New York Metro Region. Following this, they worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Airtight Networks in 2014. Philip Scott completed their primary education at Haverford School from 1965 to 1979. Philip then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, completing it from 1979 to 1983. In addition to their formal education, Philip obtained certifications such as Network Security Expert 1, 2, & 3 from Fortinet in April 2015 and VSP VMware Sales Professional from VMware in May 2009.
