Tom Gale

Tom Gale has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and firmware development. Tom started their career as a Firmware Engineer at RR Donnelley in 1991. Tom then joined HP in 1995, where they worked as a Firmware Engineer and later as an Engineer Scientist. During their time at HP, Tom played a key role in designing and implementing various I/O stacks and drivers for HP enterprise printers, digital senders, and MFPs. Tom also led teams in the development of wired, wireless, and proximity accessories. In 2015, Tom joined Cradlepoint, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer. At Cradlepoint, they were responsible for creating a private instance of the company's Enterprise Cloud Manager and led the development of a proof-of-concept cloud manager for the "Fog Computing" and "Internet of Things" for the Enterprise.

Tom Gale attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1987 to 1991, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics.
