This is a maternity cover role.
We’re Craft Gin Club, the UK’s no.1 spirit subscription business. Ever since our founders pitched successfully on Dragons’ Den in 2016, we’ve been hard at work, scouring the country and the globe - to find the world's finest small-batch spirits. Every month, we send thousands of gin (and rum) lovers across the country a surprise box packed with a craft spirit, mixers, foodie treats and our club magazine, as well as attracting and engaging customers via our online shop.
Now entering its tenth year, Craft Gin Club has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ecommerce Merchandising Manager to join and support our passionate and talented marketing team, to help engage and grow our membership base within the UK and beyond.
The role
- Work hand-in-hand with our Commercial and NPD team to ensure we’re surfacing a compelling set of products to our prospective and existing customers on our online store and within third-party channels (such as Amazon)
- Keep a keen eye on what customers are searching for and buying online, whether within the Craft Gin community or beyond, to maximise performance and inspire future product listings and campaigns.
- Oversee all merchandisable placements on the website, from product listings pages to the products offered within our members’ area, to ensure we’re putting our best foot forward from an imagery, copy and offer perspective (with the support of the creative team).
- Oversee the prices of all of our products, taking into account production and fulfillment costs, so we’re hitting if not exceeding our delivered margin goals.
- Maximise the AOV and GP of our subscription orders and shop orders, to help the business achieve their sales and profit targets.
- Keep a track of inventory levels, briefing in re-orders as and when needed
- Support with maximising customer payback, by managing our new customer upsells.
- Lead the charge with briefing in seasonal product buys (Christmas Gifts for example), to gain a greater share of customers’ wallets over key selling periods.
- Pull together and manage the annual bottom-up shop forecast.
