Professor - Artist In Residence Metalsmithing Department at Cranbrook Educational Community

Iris Eichenberg is a Professor and Artist in Residence in the Metalsmithing Department at Cranbrook Educational Community, a position held since September 2006. Eichenberg has extensive experience in academia, having served as a visiting professor and lecturer at several institutions, including the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Bowling Green State University, Oregon State University, and the Rhode Island School of Design, among others, during various years in 2010 and 2009. Additionally, Eichenberg held a role as a workshop instructor at Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Florence, IT, and has lectured at Fachhochschule Trier and Saimaan ammattikorkeakoulu - Koru 3 in Finland. Iris Eichenberg graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, completing studies between 1988 and 1994.
