Allan Coombs

Allan Coombs has eight years of work experience in the field of mechanical design engineering. In 2007, they began their career as a Design Engineer at AIM Altitude, where they designed and created solutions for BFE floor mounted stowage. Later that year, they moved to Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, where they designed and created fuel tank assemblies and components for a Boeing Maritime Military Aircraft. In 2008, they joined Leonardo as a Design Engineer, where they designed 3D components for helicopter rotor heads and associated rotating controls. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Design & Weight Engineer at Diehl Aerospace GmbH. In 2012, they returned to AIM Altitude as a Design Engineer, where they designed and created a multi-functional CTR unit. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Design Engineer at BE Aerospace. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as an Engineer Design at Rockwell Collins. In 2022, they joined Cranfield Aerospace Solutions as a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Allan Coombs obtained an Engineer's degree from Bournemouth University in the field of Engineering Design.
