Gabriel Habryn

Gabriel Habryn is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering (Cloud) at CrateDB since July 2024. Previously, Gabriel held various roles at Brainly from May 2015 to July 2024, including Director of Technology and Senior Domain Lead for Back-End Infra & Search Infra, playing a key role in transforming Brainly into an 'Answer Platform.' Gabriel's accomplishments include implementing best practices in backend engineering, creating training programs for new joiners, and leading internal workshops on advanced technologies. Earlier career experiences include software engineering roles at Schibsted Tech Polska, Empathy Interactive, and other organizations, with a strong focus on backend development and database architecture. Gabriel earned a degree from AGH University of Krakow from 2004 to 2009.
