Marija Selaković

Marija Selaković has had a varied work experience since 2013. Marija started out as an Academy Assistant at the Network Institute of VU University Amsterdam in 2013. In 2014, they were a Research Assistant at TU Darmstadt and also a Master Thesis Intern at IBM. In 2017 and 2018, they worked as a Research Intern at Microsoft. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Senior Research Engineer at Huawei. Marija currently works as a Developer Advocate at Crate.io.

Marija Selaković's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Software Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2014 to 2019, a Master's degree in Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2013 to 2014, a Master's degree in Computer Science from University of L'Aquila, Italy from 2012 to 2014, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems and Technology from University of Belgrade from 2008 to 2012. Marija has also obtained several certifications, including an Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals from Astronomer in July 2022, a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in June 2022, a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in April 2019, and an IBM Data Science Professional Certificate Specialization from Coursera in March 2019.
