Zhuojia (Elena) Qian

Zhuojia (Elena) Qian has worked in a variety of roles in the food industry. Zhuojia (Elena) began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Huazhong Agricultural University in 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Marketing Department Intern at Yihai Kerry Investments Co., Ltd. From 2018 to 2021, they held the roles of Graduate Researcher, Research Assistant, Research and Lab Assistant, and Food Scientist at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Most recently, they have been working as an R&D Manager at Yishi Foods.

Zhuojia (Elena) Qian began their education in 2011 at Wuxi Big Bridge Academy, where they obtained their High School Diploma. From 2014 to 2018, they attended Huazhong Agricultural University, where they earned their Bachelor of Engineering in Food Science and Engineering. In 2018, they began their Master of Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they completed in 2020. Zhuojia (Elena) also obtained a Master of Science certification from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in September of 2020.
