Vincent Tan Eit

Vincent Tan, EIT, is a Structural Engineer at Crawford, Murphy & Tilly since June 2023 with prior experience as a Bridge and Structures Intern at CN. During the internship in early 2023, Vincent prepared a multiyear work program for maintenance across the Canadian network and assisted with steel rating analysis of bridges. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University from January 2021 to April 2023, Vincent conducted research on transportation safety under Dr. Jonathan Wood. Additionally, Vincent served as President of the Badminton Club, managing operations for over 200 members and organizing significant events, including the State Games of America and Iowa Open Badminton Championships. Previous internships at CN involved bridge inspection, where Vincent ensured compliance with safety regulations and conducted onsite briefings. Vincent earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University in May 2023, following studies at INTI from 2018 to 2019.
