Maurice Shalam is a seasoned investor and entrepreneur with extensive experience in early-stage ventures and the sports industry. Currently, Maurice holds the position of Managing Partner at Avex Capital Partners, focusing on micro angel investments, and serves as a Consultant and Venture Associate at Triangle Capital Group, LLC, investing in emerging ventures within the crypto and tech sectors. An active angel investor, Maurice supports multiple startups, including beehiiv, Montra, Hypercard, and HoneyQuote. As a Co-Owner of Crawley Town Football Club, Maurice combines a passion for sports with business acumen. Previous roles include Founder and CEO of FanVest, alongside consulting positions at LM Cohen & Company, which provided outsourced CFO services. Academically, Maurice holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Babson College and a Master's degree in Finance from Baruch College.
