David Mosen

David Mosen has extensive work experience in the field of data and analytics. David currently holds the position of Vice President of Data & Analytics - Global at Crayon, where they are responsible for the global data vision, strategy, and execution. David also directs the Data Platform, Business Intelligence teams, and Data Governance. Prior to this role, David was the Chief Data Scientist - Global at Crayon, where they served as the enterprise data platform product owner and provided strategy advisory for the data & AI practice. David drove the strategy of ESG analytical products and services. David also worked as the Chief Data Scientist at the Data & AI Centre of Excellence at Crayon, where they were the technical lead in strategic customer engagements and developed internal methodology. Before joining Crayon, David worked as a Senior Data Scientist at the Data & AI Centre of Excellence, where they delivered Azure ML workshops and led the ML monitoring product. David also developed solutions for manufacturing optimization, payment prediction, and cashflow forecasting. Prior to these roles, David worked as a Lead Data Scientist at Myrtle Consulting Group and as a Freelance Data Scientist at Effilab. David started their career as a Bioinformatics Data Scientist at Imperial College London and later worked as a Research Fellow at Harvard University and a Bioinformatics Analyst at CIC bioGUNE.

David Mosen obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Data Science for Molecular Biology & Biomedicine from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science - MS in Bioinformatics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2009 to 2011. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science - BS and a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, completed from 2003 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, David has also obtained certifications in Change Management, Data Management, Azure Data Science, and AWS Machine Learning.
