Alejandro Basauri-Vega

Alejandro Basauri-Vega has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Alejandro is currently the Chief Product Officer at CrayoNano, a next-generation semiconductor company specializing in nanotechnology with the aim of enabling a sustainable and healthier life for everyone. Prior to this, they held the position of Principal Scientist at CrayoNano.

Before joining CrayoNano, Alejandro founded the INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES COMPANY, LLC in 2017 and served as its Founder until 2021. In this role, they contributed to the establishment and growth of the company.

From 2012 to 2016, Alejandro was the Founder and CTO of LUMERIA RESEARCH INC, where they led the development of LED-based lighting solutions with a focus on energy conservation, efficiency, and long-lasting products.

Alejandro also gained experience as a Consultant at Constructora Chufani in 2015 and held the position of Manufacturing Director at Phoseon Technology from 2006 to 2012. Alejandro previously served as a Manufacturing & Development Manager at nLight Photonics from 2003 to 2006.

Earlier in their career, Alejandro worked at Flextronics Photonics, where they held positions as Process Development Manager and Engineering Manager from 1998 to 2003. Prior to that, they served as the Advanced Interconnect R&D Manager at ChipPAC from 1996 to 1998.

Alejandro Basauri-Vega completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) degrees in EE, Electro Optics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Distribution & Electronics, at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León from 1984 to 1988.
