Catalin Voss

Catalin Moreno Voss is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and advisor with significant experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at Ello since September 2019, Voss is also a Venture Partner at CRE Venture Capital, an Advisor to Smile Identity, and an Advisory Committee Member with the California 100 Initiative. Previous roles include Co-Founder and CTO of DukaConnect, a low-cost Point of Sale system, and a Machine Learning Consultant at both Cognoa and Mastercard. Voss has a strong academic background with a PhD candidacy in Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University, alongside holding a BSH and MS in Computer Science from the same institution and completing high school in Germany. Notably, Voss was the Research Lead for the Autism Glass Project at Stanford, which developed technology to assist children with autism through real-time facial expression recognition.
