Christophe Le Gros

Optical Engineer at CREAL

Christophe Le Gros is an Optical Engineer with experience in the field since 2012. Christophe began their career as an Intern at Lemoptix SA, where they designed, manufactured, implemented and patented a 30% speckle reduction solution with no image degradation and minimum system size increase. Christophe then moved on to become a R&D Optical Engineer at Lemoptix SA, where they contributed to the company's success story, which concluded with an acquisition from Intel Corporation. At Intel Corporation, Christophe was part of a multidisciplinary and international team developing and manufacturing Intel Vaunt, a highly innovative Augmented Reality (AR) glass product. Christophe's roles included display brightness and color level calibration, as well as creating an innovative User Experience (UX) platform and monitoring human trials for optimum display brightness in different ambient viewing conditions. In 2018, Christophe moved on to become a Lead Optical Engineer and Senior Optical Engineer at Magic Leap. Finally, in 2020, Christophe began their current role as an Optical Engineer at CREAL.

Christophe Le Gros completed a Master of Science in Micro and Nano Technologies from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2011 to 2012. Christophe also completed a Master of Science in Micro and Nano Technologies from Grenoble INP - UGA from 2011 to 2011 and a Master of Science in Micro and Nano Technologies from Politecnico di Torino from 2010 to 2011.
