Grégoire Smolik

Optical design Engineer at CREAL

Grégoire Smolik has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Grégoire began their career as an Assistant-étudiant at EPFL. In 2012, they became a Visiting Grad Student at UC San Diego. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Research Scientist and PhD student at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Most recently, they have been an Optical Design Engineer at CREAL since 2018.

Grégoire Smolik completed a Bachelor's degree in Microengineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2007 and 2010. Grégoire then earned a Master's degree in Applied Optic from the same institution between 2010 and 2012. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Photonics from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2013 and 2017.
